What do these Clipster terms mean?

A quick guide to the words you see in Clipster. Each term links to the article with the full details.

Campaigns

  • Campaign: a paid brief from a brand. You post content for it and earn from the results. See How do campaigns work?.
  • Content Requirements: the campaign's brief – what is allowed and what is not.
  • Rate / CPM / RPM: how much a campaign pays per 1 million views ("/ 1M"), or per post ("/ post").
  • Budget / Paid out %: how much of the campaign's money is already used. It can go up and down while the campaign runs.
  • Cap per Post: the most one post can earn in a campaign.
  • Cap per Profile: the most one creator can earn from a campaign.
  • Min Views for Earnings: the views a post needs before it starts earning.
  • Min Engagement Rate: the minimum (likes + comments + shares + saves) ÷ views a post needs. See What rules does every clip need to follow?.
  • Apply to join: the campaign needs an approved application before you can submit.

Submissions and views

  • Submission: a post you sent to a campaign with Submit Content. See How do I submit a clip, and what counts as a valid post?.
  • Eligible views: views your post gained after you submitted it, while the campaign was running. Only these count towards earnings.
  • Refresh: when Clipster updates your post's views, every few hours ("Next refresh in").
  • Processing: your submission is being checked.
  • Ineligible: the post doesn't have enough views to earn yet.
  • Eligible: the post meets the basic requirements and is being monitored until the campaign ends.
  • Rejected: the post didn't pass review. See Why was my clip rejected?.
  • Paid Out: earnings are final and credited to your wallet.
