How do I appeal a rejected clip?
Updated October 2, 2026
You can appeal some rejection reasons by opening an Appeals ticket in the Clipster Discord. Each submission can be appealed only once, and the decision on the appeal is final.
Which rejections can be appealed?
Check your rejection reason first. See Why was my clip rejected?.
| Rejection reason | Can you appeal? |
|---|---|
| Content does not match requirements | Yes, if after reviewing the complete campaign brief, you believe your submission meets every requirement. |
| Inorganic Engagement | Yes, if you believe your engagement was organic. You do not need to submit a recording of your analytics anymore. |
| Logo size issue | Yes, if you believe the logo follows the Clipster Logo Guidelines. |
| Video not available | Yes, if the post is currently public and accessible through a logged-out incognito browser. It may have been a loading error. |
| Duplicate Submission (someone else submitted your video) | Only if you can provide proof that you are the original creator. |
Conditional re-review
| Rejection reason | Can you appeal? |
|---|---|
| Below Campaign engagement threshold (music campaigns) | Only if your engagement is now above 3% and the campaign is still active and not paid out. |
| Review failed because the video is age-restricted | Remove the age restriction first. A re-review will only be possible if the campaign is still active. |
Rejections that cannot be appealed
| Rejection reason | Can you appeal? |
|---|---|
| Below Campaign engagement threshold (other campaigns) | No. |
| Non-English caption | No. Changing the caption afterwards does not help. |
| Hidden engagement | No. Making stats public afterwards does not help. |
| Logo Not Looping | No. |
| Account Irrelevant to Campaign | No. Check the campaign requirements before your next post. |
| Spam Post, or a still image instead of a video | No. |
| Messages at submission (too old, already submitted, campaign not active, no budget, wrong sound) | No. These are not review decisions. |
If your reason is not in this table, ask in your ticket whether it can be appealed.
How to appeal
- Open a ticket in the Clipster Discord support channel. See How do I contact support?.
- Choose Appeals → Rejected Submission.
- Add the submission link, the campaign name, and why you think the decision is wrong.
- If your Discord is not linked, also add your Clipster username and email address.
You do not need screenshots or screen recordings. The team checks your post's data directly through your linked account. If your account still shows "Bio verified", linking it directly with Complete Verification is the best way to support your appeal. See How do I set up my account and link my socials?.
Rules for appeals
- One appeal per submission. Once an appeal is decided, that submission cannot be appealed again.
- One appeal per ticket. For another appeal, open a new ticket.
- One appeal covers the campaign. The team reviews all your rejected submissions in that campaign. You do not need a separate appeal for each post.
- Claims that someone else added fake views to your post without your knowledge are not accepted. You are responsible for the engagement on your content.
How long it takes
There is no fixed time. It depends on how many appeals are waiting. The decision is posted in your ticket.
Appeals after the campaign has ended
Once a campaign has been paid out, submission can no longer be appealed.
What happens next
- Approved: Your submission is restored. The eligible views and earnings it had while the campaign was active count towards your payout. Views after the campaign ended do not count.
- Denied: The decision is final. The submission cannot be appealed again.
If your whole account was suspended, the process is different. See Why was my account suspended, and can I appeal?.
