For Brands

What happens if my post is deleted, removed or goes offline?

Updated October 2, 2026

Your post must stay public during review and for 30 days after the campaign has been paid out. If a paid post goes missing, you get a warning and 7 days to put it back. If you do not, the warning becomes a strike.

During the campaign

  • If your post is deleted, private or unavailable when it is reviewed, it is rejected as "Video not available".
  • If Clipster can't find your post during a view update, you see "Post unavailable – It may have been deleted or restricted. Please verify it's still available on [platform]." Check the post and make it public again.
  • If an approved post disappears while the campaign is running, it goes back to review. You may see "Submission awaiting approval by platform for post not found". Put the post back online so it can be approved again.
  • "Couldn't refresh this post yet" is different: it is a temporary update problem. Clipster tries again automatically. No action needed.
  • If the video is age-restricted, Clipster cannot read its data. The review fails. Open the post in a private browser window while logged out to check. Remove the age restriction, then ask support for a re-review.
  • If your views stop updating for a public post, report it in a ticket while the campaign is still running. Views that were never recorded cannot be paid after the campaign ends.
  • Linking your account directly (with Link Account, not bio verification) helps prevent update problems. See How do I set up my account and link my socials?.

After the campaign: keep paid posts up

Posts you were paid for must stay publicly available for 30 days after the campaign has been paid out. The brand paid for that content to stay live. You may only remove a post earlier for a good reason.

Clipster re-checks paid posts during that time through your linked account.

Warnings and strikes

  1. If a check cannot find your post, you get a "post no longer available" warning.
  2. You then have 7 days to put it back. If you do, the warning closes and nothing stays on your record.
  3. If it is still missing after 7 days, the warning becomes a strike.
  4. Strikes stay on your account for 60 days. At 4 strikes, your account may be suspended for 48 hours.

Archiving a post or making it private counts the same as deleting it. A post that is still up but age-restricted, or blocked in some countries, does not count as missing.

I got a "post no longer available" warning

You deleted it. The warning stays. Re-uploading it as a new post does not help. The check looks at the original link.

You archived it or made it private. Unarchive it or make it public again. The next check clears the warning. No ticket needed.

The platform removed the post or banned your account. This is not held against you, but the team needs to see it. Open a ticket with a screen recording that shows:

  • the removal or ban notice from the platform
  • which account it is about
  • the post link, or your profile if the whole account was removed

If the strike checks out, it is removed. Without the recording, the team cannot tell a platform removal from a deletion. If your whole account was banned, one recording covers all posts. Say so in one ticket.

The post is still up and you think the warning is wrong. Open the link in a private window while logged out. If it does not load, it is not public. Make it public again. If it does load, open a ticket with a screen recording of the post playing in a logged-out window, with the link visible.

Can I get compensation if the platform took my post offline?

You can ask. Open a support ticket with the post link and proof that the platform took it down, such as the platform's notice. Each request is reviewed individually. Compensation is not guaranteed.

After the 30 days

  • You may delete or archive the post.
  • You may edit it, for example remove the logo.
  • You may not reuse the content for another campaign.
