Why are my views or earnings not what I expected?

Updated October 2, 2026

Usually because only views gained after you submitted count, views update every few hours, or the post hasn't reached the campaign's minimum views or has hit a cap. Find what you see below.

"My post has more views than Clipster shows"

  • Only views after you submit count. If your post had 22,000 views when you submitted and now has 82,000, your eligible views are 60,000. Submit as soon as you post. (The Diamond rank perk "total views count" is the exception. See What are ranks, and what perks do I get?.)
  • Views aren't live. They update every few hours. Open the post in My Activity → Submissions to see when it refreshes next.
  • Views stop when the campaign ends. Views after the campaign ended never count.

"My views are 0 or not updating"

  • Just submitted? The post shows Processing first. Give it a few hours.
  • "Couldn't refresh this post yet" is temporary. Clipster tries again automatically.
  • "Post unavailable" means the post may be deleted, private or restricted. Make sure it is public. See What happens if my post is deleted, removed or goes offline?.
  • Age-restricted or blocked in some countries? Clipster may not be able to read the post. Remove the restriction.
  • Bio-verified account? These have more update problems. Link the account directly with Complete Verification. See How do I set up my account and link my socials?.

If a public post hasn't updated for more than 24 hours while the campaign is still running, open a support ticket before the campaign ends. Views that were never recorded can't be paid later.

"My post has views but shows $0"

  • Ineligible: the post hasn't reached the campaign's Min Views for Earnings yet. Each post needs to reach it on its own.
  • Per-post campaign: some campaigns pay a fixed amount per post, not per view. That is only paid once the post is approved.
  • Rejected: rejected posts earn nothing. Check the reason. See Why was my clip rejected?.

"My post stopped earning"

  • Cap per Post reached: a post can't earn more than the campaign's Cap per Post.
  • Cap per Profile reached: you've earned the most one creator can earn from this campaign.
  • The campaign ended or ran out of budget.

See "Pay types and caps" in When do I get paid?.

"My earnings went down or disappeared"

  • Earnings shown while the campaign runs are not final. Posts are monitored until the campaign ends, and a post can still be rejected.
  • An approved post that disappears goes back to review until it is online again.
  • The campaign's budget percentage going up and down is normal and doesn't change your earnings.

"My payout is lower than I expected"

"I can't withdraw my earnings yet"

Earnings stay pending until the campaign ends and is paid out, usually about 1 week after it ends. Then they appear in your balance. You need at least $50 to withdraw.
