When do I get paid?

Updated October 2, 2026

Payment is processed after the campaign ends and all submissions have been reviewed. Payment is made within 2 days.

The payout timeline

Campaign ends → review is finished → payout is processed → money reaches your Clipster balance.

In My Activity, the campaign shows Pending while processing the payout. Your posts then change to Paid Out, and the money shows in My Balance.

  • This usually takes 2 days to process.
  • Big campaigns, busy periods, and holidays can take longer. The payout still happens.
  • If a campaign relaunches, payouts for older posts may wait until the relaunched campaign ends and is reviewed.
  • Payouts cannot be sped up. The schedule is the same for everyone.

Once the money is in your balance, you can withdraw it. See How do I withdraw my earnings, and what are the fees?.

How your earnings are calculated

You earn money for a post when:

  1. The post is approved.
  2. The post reaches the campaign's "Min Views for Earnings" (for example, 2,000). This applies to each post on its own, not to all your posts together.

Your earnings = your post's eligible views × the campaign's rate per 1 million views (RPM). Some campaigns pay per post instead, or both. See "Pay types and caps" below. Eligible views are views gained after you submitted, while the campaign was active. See How do I submit a clip, and what counts as a valid post?.

Earnings are not rounded. A payout of $398.18 instead of $400 is the exact amount, not a fee.

Pay types and caps

The campaign page shows how a campaign pays (Rate, shown as "/ 1M" or "/ post").

  • Per view: you earn the rate per 1M views on your eligible views.
  • Per post: a fixed amount for each post. It is only paid for posts that are approved.
  • Base + views: a guaranteed amount per post plus earnings per view ("Guaranteed base + Performance upside").
  • By platform: the rate can differ per platform. Some campaigns pay per post on one platform and per view on another.

Caps

  • Cap per Post: the most one post can earn. Views after that do not add more.
  • Cap per Profile: the most you can earn from the campaign across all your posts. Once you reach it, you can't submit more. You see "You have reached this campaign's earnings limit per creator."
  • Per-post pay counts towards your Cap per Profile first. View earnings fill what is left.

Pending vs. confirmed earnings

  • Pending: the post is waiting for review. The amount is not confirmed.
  • Confirmed: the post is approved. The amount counts towards your balance.

Good to know

  • If a campaign ends before its budget is used, you are still paid in full for your approved posts.
  • Your balance does not expire. It is not wiped if you do not withdraw.
  • Music campaign bonuses follow the same schedule as normal earnings.
  • If your account is suspended, you cannot withdraw. A permanent suspension means your earnings are not paid out. See Why was my account suspended, and can I appeal?.

Referral bonuses

You get 10% of what creators you refer earn, up to $100 per creator. Referral bonuses are paid on the same schedule, into a separate referral balance. See How does Invite & Earn work?.

My balance is lower than expected

  • Only approved posts count. Check for rejections on your dashboard.
  • Posts below the campaign's "Min Views for Earnings" earn $0.
  • Pending earnings are not confirmed yet.
  • Views may not be final. They update every few hours while the campaign runs.
  • A 5% fee is taken when you withdraw. See How do I withdraw my earnings, and what are the fees?.

My payout is missing

If the campaign shows "Paid out" and money or a bonus is still missing after the usual time, open a support ticket. Include your Clipster username and the campaign name.
